I hope this finds you all well.
I’ve just heard back from the landlord on this, and they have unfortunately said that there is no wiggle room on the rent increases or the utilities surcharge.
If you are unable to move forward with these increases, or disagree with them, then the landlord has stated that they will serve one month’s notice to vacate your room on Monday 14th if your signed agreement is not received by then.
I’m sorry that I cannot be of any further help on this issue, we are beholden to the landlord’s wishes and this is their instruction.
